Life & Death
The idea of life and death as humanoid beings wandering the same road at different times is both cute and dark, the living sees where the death has been all around them while the death sees the life and just cheesy cuteness like that.

For this I could look into Egyptian mythology like Nephthys the protector of the dead or the different cultural differences between the entity 'grim reaper'.

Anti-Poaching

Making fineart images of what happens with poaching of any animals, being a gruesome wakeup call to the cruelty and quite unnecessary reasoning behind it, for example rhino horn is made from the same proteins that make up human hair, finger nails, horses hooves and turtle beaks. (keratin x) 
I could easily make this a rather surreal series of images which may involve more development.

I would need to research into poaching of endangered animals as well as the poaching of animals that will soon lead them to be on the endangered list.

Pet Neglect

There are different ways for me to go at this theme, I am passionate about animals thats true however I do believe pets can have just a cruel of a start as an end, puppy mills would be a good example of this, dogs often kept in horrid conditions, only their puppies being put on display for people to see while the mothers birth risks increase, puppies can be past deadly diseases or be products of inbreeding for the pure bred look.

one of the most major(but still quite rare) problems would be short spine syndrome in pure bread dogs, there are many more vastly more common problems that come with inbreeding but this is the one that no one suspects because, it does not look right.

Then there is animal abuse by the hands of their owners ignorance or just malice, although this can go from the animal being isolated and becoming feral and afraid or can go from the incident the attempts to 'neuter' their own animals because they want to save money or think they are somehow as qualified as vets, or in places like Gambia where it still isn't common it is more likely than in places like the US and UK.

even though this is a brutal and gut wrenching act, this case was down to ignorance not malice, the kids did not do it out of schadenfreude(the pleasure in watching others misfortune) or sadism, they simply didn't know better, not that what they did was not wrong.

From personal experiences I have learned that making gruesome posters and campaigns don't work as well as people think, people will turn their heads and become ignorant because they 'don't want to see that' so I believe it would be better to somewhat cartoonify this, it loosens the grip from gory to somewhat acceptable but still have dark portrayals.

Understanding Rabbits

Inspired by the Volunteer work I do at Thornberry animal sanctuary where I would be able to not only get primary source images but plenty of brain food(ideas).
I am passionate about rabbits, I have had them since I was little, of course I probably made mistakes because, well, I was a child. A common problem with people that come to adopt a cute bunny is usually because they are buying it for a child as a toy, they wont think that at the time but parents must start buying animals for themselves because it will be down to them to take care of them in the end, children can and will become bored of animals and rabbits are not an animal you can just shove in a cage and throw food in every now and again, they need exercise, interaction, yearly vet checks and weekly(at min) home checks, rabbits can catch anything and everything.

Rabbits are pray animals. Do not expect to buy a rabbit that will be affectionate towards you, rabbits are naturally scared of everything and being picked up is a fear for all rabbits, of course some rabbits like a stroke, like to follow you and are overall a joy to be with, but some rabbits can still be a joy but not ones you can stroke and cuddle.
soon as a rabbit hits 1 year old they are in a teenage stage, males want girlfriends and females must defend themselves and their future babies, so a baby bunny you bought that used to let you stroke and cuddle may have suddenly changed because of hormones and has started to bite or growl, this is a common reason for rabbits to be brought in or even to be put to sleep, because people done know enough and thats why I would like to make a book or a series of images to teach people the mindset of rabbits.
